Nestled just off Boston’s all you can eat buffet of fashion, Newberry Street, lays an absolute gem. To unknowing passers by, this boutique, would be passed off simply as a rundown Chinese grocery store.
The real heart of Bodega is hidden behind the fa├žade of this run of the mill shop front.

You head through the front sliding doors to find a couple Britney Spears sized bouncers sitting at a table playing on their laptops eating fried chicken. You then head to the back of the store to find the face of a vending machine, which doubles as a secret sliding door. The mystery door opens to reveal brilliantly polished floorboards with kicks galore lined up on wooden shelving that looks as if stolen from a Harvard professor’s office.

With a wide range of products at varying prices the store is far from a novelty. Bodega also stocks apparel including killer Japanese Head Porter Plus jackets, some unique collaborations, such as Adidas X Bodega, a range of shades, caps and much more.

Bodega is definitely a must see if cruising the streets of Boston!

It’s never fun being ‘that guy’ who has either gone overboard with the dress code or turned up looking like he’s off to for a sparing session. To make sure you look right for any occasion, here is a quick fix. Most people instinctively look toward shirts or dress pants for an answer, this is not the path to righteousness. In order to get a hold of a shiny golden key to slip through the cracks of fashion, look to subtly for success.
This key is of course in the footwear.
Nice leathers will do for dressier events, but for a less formal juncture, simply look to a close relative for saviour. The answer, a suede lace up, boot or derby style shoe. They provide all the class, with no chance of ignorance.
For nice bars or even less formal, yet classy work environments, wear some leather capped derby lace ups, slim fit denims (such as those by Nudie or APC) and a dressy plaid or other fitted shirt, then my friend, you’re on your way.
If you don’t already have a pair, buy some, and you will never walk back!

Eskuche Rose Gold Headphones
If you feel like your ready to step out of the sea of white ear buds for greener, and much better sounding pastures, continue reading, if not your music probably isn’t worthy anyway.
I get the impression the ipod headphones are designed 20% for sound quality and 80% for social acceptance. Those who truly love their tunes splurge with companies like Bose, Sennheiser and many others who produce some amazing products. You can’t beat those guys for fidelity, however every now and then we the superficial kicks in and we need something that makes us look better than everyone else. Forget skull candy or anything in between, as a little company named Eskuche have hit it!

Working with classic 70's inspired styles, they have not only produced goods prepared to visually dazzle, but listeners can expect a very solid sound too! Tunes out of an iPod give tight and responsive bass topped with dreamy mid-tones and crisp highs.
All in all, we were quite happy with the sound across a wide variety of genres, but more importantly, throughout the first week we were hard pressed to stand in line without having someone ask "Man, were the hell do you get those!?".

The pair pictured above come in Rose Gold (our pick), silver and black. The goods will set you back a very reasonable $58USD.

Happy Feet Socks
I love winter for the crisp, icy air, and of course the jackets, but the streets so often become starved of colour. You need to start relying on the things so slight to make the day bright.
Happy Socks have grabbed Jack Frost by his horns and released a massive range of socks, which come in a wide variety of lengths, patterns and a rainbow colors that are sure to cut through even a foggy London day. This subtlety is often neglected, as people seem to forget that the right accessory can breathe life into a simple outfit.
Best use is as a highlight with predominately darker bottoms and tops, or even with a more formal outfit to give a sneaky, humorous touch.
So don’t be bland, and get on it! The buy in is a modest $10 a pop, with free shipping for any 4 pairs.

Linda Farrow x Damir Doma
There is no doubt shades have returned back to the circular retro favour. A well designed pair can work ideally with a range of get ups, complementing a more involved guise or even transforming a simple plain tee and skinny jeans to a killer period look. I love what Ray Ban created with the classic Club Master range, but we have put together some more unique options, all with stunning designs that shade the chance of every second chap wearing the same pair. The Linda Farrow X Damir Doma is one example that achieves this look through focus on simplistic curves and that magical colour, tortoiseshell. Persol's 0714 and 0649 have also been increasing in popularity with the likes of Jay-Z to Elle McPherson (Not really something to go off however). You can also pick up great cheap pairs at 80's Purple.
